VIDEO: Firefighters battle Northbridge inferno

Grafton was among multiple towns fire departments called to assist in a massive six-alarm fire at a West End Firewood Monday night. Crews remained at the smoldering site into Tuesday afternoon.

The glow from the inferno could be seen for miles as explosions and flames ripped through multiple buildings at the business, located on Purgatory Road across the street from West End Creamery. A lack of water access at the scene required pumper trucks to truck in water from Meadow Pond.
