Grafton schools will roll out remote learning site Wednesday

Superintendent of Schools Jay Cummings announced that a new Web page dedicated to remote learning will be set up by Wednesday.

“We will be providing skills-based activities for every grade level PreK-6, subject and grade-level for grades seven and eight, and by subject area at the high school level,” Cummings wrote in an email to parents. “Teachers will be able to answer questions and support the work of students. These activities will be paired with a host of resources that can be used in conjunction with the work provided.

“We are going to set things up on a week-to-week basis so that we can gather feedback and make adjustments as needed as we move forward. It won’t be perfect as everyone (students, parent, and staff) is jumping into the new adventure of remote learning with nothing but good intentions and a desire to support our kids as well as possible. We will learn, adjust, and build as we go.

“I am confident that we will collectively succeed in facing the challenge before us.

“I want to ensure that students who do not have electronic access to the core materials, are provided with hard copies. Please let me know if you are unable to print out hard copies or access materials electronically. Depending on the number of responses, I will arrange for copies to be made and either delivered or mailed out. I can be reached at cummingsj@grafton.k12.ma.us
