Comedy night funds Girl Scout trip to Europe

A group of Girl Scouts from Grafton and Sutton are planning a trip to Europe this summer after nearly two years of fundraising.

Working together under the name “Vision 2020 Travel Group,” they’ve held bake sales, craft tables, paint nights, car washes, and activities for kids. Individually, they’ve gotten jobs, done chores and babysat to earn the funds necessary for them to tour London, Dublin and Paris in July 2020.

Now their parents are working together to put them over the top, hosting “A Night of Comedy” fundraiser on Nov. 16, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Polish National Home, 7 Main St., South Grafton. The event will feature 90 minutes of comedy from three comedians, a cash bar, raffles, and auction items,

Attendees are welcome to bring snacks and enjoy a night out — no children will be permitted at the event.
