Blackstone Valley Tech releases annual report

Blackstone Valley Tech announces that copies of its 2019 Annual Report are now available to residents of the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District.

The report spans the 2019 fiscal year, covers Valley Tech’s finances and business operations, as well as student accomplishments and significant developments. According to Superintendent-Director Dr. Michael F. Fitzpatrick, the document plays a vital role in keeping the community informed of its vocational-technical education system.

“The Annual Report provides District taxpayers with a detailed account of how their investment was utilized and the return it yielded over the prior fiscal year,” stated Fitzpatrick. “The report highlights the remarkable achievements of our students and staff.”

The annual report also includes a profile of Harry P. Cooper, Jr., who recently retired from the CIA is getting ready to launch his encore. Harry didn’t set out to be a world traveler. His mission was simple: to learn a trade and get a job. That is just what he intended to do after graduating from BVT in 1972 from the Construction program, and this is where this success journey begins.
