Woof! Woof! Why isn’t your dog running for Grafton Dog Mayor?
Time is running out to nominate your dog for the title of Grafton’s Dog Mayor!
The contest, sponsored by the Grafton 4th of July Parade Committee, will select the town’s top dog, an honor that comes with an array of prizes — including Dog Tag #1 during the next registration!
Deadline for nominees is Tuesday at 5 p.m. Email a photo of your dog to jennifer@graftoncommon.com, its name (and yours!), and tell us why they should be Grafton Dog Mayor.
Voting will be held here at Grafton Common, with no limits on votes, starting Tuesday evening. The polls will close on July 2. The top three dogs will then go before a panel of judges on July 3.
All nominees are invited to strut their stuff at the 4th of July Parade, when the Dog Mayor will be formally unveiled!
The parade starts at the North Street Elementary School at 10 a.m. and marches down to Grafton Common.
