$300,000 sidewalk project starts on Milford Road

Sidewalk construction beings this week on Milford Road and is expected to last for the next few weeks.

Back in February, the town of Grafton received $300,000 to construct the new sidewalk in order to provide pedestrians a safe walking route away from a heavily traveled street. The grant was awarded through the Shared Winter Streets and Spaces program. 

Weather depending, construction will extend from Taft Mill Road to Seaver Farm Lane.

Crews will begin working at 7 a.m. and end sometime around 5 p.m. Police details will be on site and delays are expected.
